Directions refer to flavor packets_ not listed in recipe, what kind of flavor, where do u get/ also did she use Walmart brand broccoli slaw or dole?

    • Flavor, NC says:

The flavor packets are the ones that come in the ramen noodles. Any brand of broccoli slaw will work.

      Dear Linda H,

Great question!!! I had to laugh, several years ago a friend of mine made a salad similar to this using plain ramen noodles. So off I went to the store. I stood in the isle for 20 minutes looking for “Plain” Ramen Noodles. Every package had a flavor, I said to myself, “Where in the heck are the plain ones?” Then I realized, THEY ARE ALL PLAIN!!! They each come with a separate flavor packet that you can add for flavor. When I returned home and told my daughter she said ” OH MOM!!! Please tell me you didn’t ask someone that worked at the store?” The kids still tease me about this 15 years later!! LOL LOL
