Sausage Quiche

as seen on episode “Sausage”, season 4


  • 1 lb of sausage
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 ½ cups grated sharp cheese
  • 1 Tbsp parsley flakes
  • 1 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3/4 tsp seasoned salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 prepared deep dish pie shell

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Fry the sausage until cooked, drain and then crumble. Saute the onion and pepper in the same frying pan and add the vegetables to the cooked sausage. Stir in the flour and cheese. Spread the mixture in the pie shell. Combine the eggs, milk and seasonings then pour evenly over the sausage mixture. Bake the quiche on a cookie sheet for thirty to forty minutes or until the filling has set.
