Hot Pepper Vinegar

as seen on episode “Peppers”, season 5
Ingredients:
- 2 cups white distilled vinegar
- 1 cup of Serrano pepper halves
Combine the peppers and vinegar in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer. Allow the mixture to simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from the heat and allow the peppers to steep for an additional 20 minutes. Strain the mixture through a fine mess sieve and cool.
