Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Pound Cake | Flavor, NC

Ingredients:

  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. lemon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Cream together the butter and cream cheese, then gradually add the sugar. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Then add the flour mixture alternating with the eggs. Once well combined, add the lemon juice and vanilla. Pour batter into a tube pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
