Sorrell Rocket Herb Salad

The Farmery Salad | Flavor, NC


  • 1 cup fresh baby greens
  • 1 cup sorrel, rough chop (can substitute with basil, parsley, or spinach; a green herb works)
  • ½ cup basil, rough chop
  • ½ cup parsley, rough chop
  • 1 Tbsp. Pesto Vinaigrette, recipe follows
  • 1 Tbsp. Pesto Goat Cheese, recipe follows
  • 1 Tbsp. Supa Seed Mix, recipe follows


Mix greens in a bowl. Add dressing to coat all leaves. Break up goat cheese and spread evenly. Sprinkle with Supa seed mix.

For the Pesto Vinaigrette


  • 1 ½ cups olive oil
  • ½ cup white wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup Farmery Pesto
  • 2 tsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. basil, minced
  • 2 tsp. oregano, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper


Mix all the ingredients, except oil in a blender. Slowly add the oil with the blender is on at a low speed until emulsified.

For the Pesto Goat Cheese


  • 1 cup Farmery Pesto
  • ½ cup goat cheese


Mix in a mixing bowl until combined.

For the Cilantro Supa Seed Mix


  • Seed mix – 1 Tbsp. each flax, chia, sesame (can add pumpkin seeds)
  • Cilantro, minced


Mix all ingredients together.
