I have now seen “everything”! I switched to view today’s Flavor NC episode. I’ve been living in Fayetteville, NC for about 22 years, but am originally from Swansboro, having also lived in Hubert, with my favorite aunt “Sis,” until I graduated from SHS in 1972. I’ve seen other shows on growing mushrooms, but then saw that these growers were in “Hubert, NC.” I don’t know the Foxes but, wish them the best. Then to see that you would be cooking some mushroom dishes from a restaurant in Swansboro, and a brief view of the waterfront made be almost “tear up”. I got online and see that today is the first time this episode has aired. THANKS!

Really enjoyed this segment last evening, 1-19-2017. My husband and I have recently moved to Hubert after purchasing 3 acres. We intend to become an organic, perma-culture, small farm so seeing a success story like this is encouraging.
Would love to visit the Fox operation if possible.

I, myself, am not much of a cook but I made the Butter Poached King Oyster Mushroom Scallops this past valentines day and man did I nail it. I was a little worried about the pound of butter, however it turned out perfectly! Who needs cable when you have flavor nc!!! Thanks for airing this recipe. It was the highlight of our valentines day!
