Flavor, NC represents a place in our minds, and our palates, where the best of North Carolina’s agricultural bounty is shared by those who grow and produce it, with those who appreciate and consume it. The mission of Flavor, NC is to introduce all those who call North Carolina home to our rich agricultural heritage and to the farmers and food producers carrying on that tradition today. Simply put, we want everyone who watches to become a “resident” of our town, Flavor, NC.

Agriculture is among the largest industries in North Carolina. The total economic impact of agribusiness in our state is $74 billion, accounting for almost a fifth of North Carolina’s gross state product. Ninety-five percent of all farms in the state are classified as “family farms”. Connecting those family farms and the fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry and seafood they produce with North Carolina consumers is what we’re all about. Helping our viewers get to know their neighbors who proudly grow the food they eat and raising awareness of their value to our communities and our state are at the heart of Flavor, NC.
